The Silent Catalyst: Josip Grbavac (Braco) and the Power of the Unspoken

1. Emergence from Crisis: The Path to Silence

Born in Zagreb in 1967, Josip Grbavac came of age during the political disintegration and conflict in socialist Yugoslavia (Stollznow, 2010; Wikipedia, 2024). After earning a degree in economics, his life trajectory shifted when he met his mentor, Ivica Prokić (Wikipedia, 2024).

Regarded as the "Edgar Cayce of Eastern Europe" and a modern Nostradamus figure in the region (Emami, 2010), Prokić was a renowned Serbian-born seer, prophet, and intuitive reader who claimed to receive direct visions and cosmic insights (Wikipedia, 2024). Much like Cayce’s medical readings or Nostradamus’s prophetic verses, Prokić dictated thousands of pages of channeled literature, personal prophecies, and spiritual teachings to thousands of visitors seeking guidance during times of personal and political crisis (Wikipedia, 2024). Recognizing a unique spiritual quality in the young economist, Prokić named him "Braco" ("little brother") and foretold that Braco would carry forward a legacy that would eventually reach far beyond the Balkans (Kamp, 2023; Wikipedia, 2024). Following Prokić's tragic death in 1995, Braco assumed leadership of the center in Zagreb, transitioning the focus from verbal prophecies and readings toward silent, collective restoration (Kamp, 2023; Wikipedia, 2024).


2. Media Skepticism and the Turn to Complete Silence

As his popularity expanded across Europe and North America, Braco drew scrutiny from mainstream media and rationalist skeptics who questioned the nature of his "gazing" sessions (Stollznow, 2010). Rather than engaging in public debates or establishing a rigid dogma, Braco made an unprecedented choice in 2002: he ceased giving interviews, writing books, or speaking in public altogether (Fresh.Frames, 2019; Wikipedia, 2024). Profoundly moved by this personal observation and its potential implications for non-local energy transmission, Prof. Dr. Schneider invited Braco to present at the Basel congresses. Attended by UN staff, representatives of UN-accredited NGOs, mission members, and diplomatic guests—including Croatia's Ambassador to the UN, Ranko Vilović—the event culminated in two live silent gazing sessions (PR Newswire, 2012).

At this event, Braco was awarded the prestigious Peace Pole Symbol by The World Peace Prayer Society (PR Newswire, 2012). Recognized globally as an international monument to peace bearing the universal message "May Peace Prevail On Earth," the Peace Pole symbol had previously been presented to global peace leaders such as Mother Teresa, the Dalai Lama, and Pope John Paul II (PR Newswire, 2012).

Simultaneously, this widespread populist movement caught the attention of prominent public figures and celebrities (Stollznow, 2010; Wikipedia, 2024). Well-known actors, musicians, authors, and fashion icons—including figures such as Naomi Campbell, Christine Baranski, and Donna Karan—attended his live gazing sessions and publicly shared their positive experiences (Stollznow, 2010; Wikipedia, 2024). The convergence of everyday people filling hall after hall alongside international celebrities highlighted a unique cultural phenomenon: a shared human attraction to non-judgmental presence that transcends social class, wealth, and status (Fresh.Frames, 2019; Kamp, 2023).

Today, through live global tours and free worldwide livestreams reaching tens of thousands simultaneously, Braco’s non-verbal gaze remains a rare example of a modern grassroots movement embraced across all tiers of global society (Fresh.Frames, 2019; Kamp, 2023).
